we just came out of an amazing conference, where the presence of God was so real and tangible. well, it is three days after the conference and as i roam through facebook i am concerned about the end result of the conference.
In the last 24hrs i have dealt with so many different issues that i have no doubt that the enemy has turned up the heat on us, and if you are not aware you will also get caught up in it. Not every feeling and emotion that comes your way should be entertained nevermind letting the whole world know how you feel on facebook. Words are one of the most powerful tools that we have and as the Bible says it has the power of life and death. so please young people let us be smart about what we are entertaining in our hearts, and let us be smart about what we are posting for the entire world to know. One of the things that supposed to separate from the world is self-control. The Spirit of God gives us the power over our feelings and emotions and we are not slaves to our flesh, as the word says we crucify it daily so we don’t fall prey to its cravings.
DO NOT LET THE ENEMY ROB YOU OF YOUR BLESSINGS AND BREAKTHROUGH THAT YOU RECEIVED DURING THE CONFERENCE.
Sometimes we think that what we are posting is innocent, but all the enemy needs is a little room to kill, steal and destroy. Whatever it takes to get your mind away from Jesus he will use it. Do not sit back and let him wreak havoc when he wants, rise up and take authority over your feelings and emotions and before you post anything online pray about it and give it completely over to the Lord. I know that after you read all this, the temptation is try and figure out who posted what. Let me tell you that it is the most innocent posts that creates a ripple effect in the hearts and minds of many. This is not a rebuke, but an alert from one of your leaders who loves you very much. Remember, your spirit is willing, but your flesh wants to do wrong. One of my favorite preachers says that you “need to beat the flesh black and blue and not be a slave to it.”
love,
Pastor Marco
